Phoenix is no longer being served by flights between them and Mexico city...how badly will this hurt AZ?
http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/world/aeromexico-may-suspend-its-last-connecting-flight-to-phoenix-arizona_100359125.html and before something typically ignorant is said, there are many rich Mexicans who come here for tourism, and it looks like AZ shot themselves in the foot again. @Cats: in this case, my "fellow Americans" need tough love in a way that will teach them that racism doesn't pay off.

The thing is, boycotting AZ. will be a piece of cake. The only thing that sandy crap smear has of significance is the Grand Canyon.
2 :
Screw Mexico!
3 :
God forbid a state enforce the law. Anyone boycotting Arizona is an idiot enforcing a law is not racist Is it racist when you arrest someone for murder? how about rape? this is no different.
4 :
It will hurt the local economy.I am sorry to see what local Arizonians and small business owners have to go through because of AZ government's stupidity
5 :
82% of America does not agree with the boycott. I will look for ways to SUPPORT AZ and buy from them when I can. I say...let all Mexicans stay home. They are bringing my apathy on themselves by holding rallies in support of ILLEGALS.
6 :
You beat us to it.... you said the first ignorant thing. You really ought to read the article you are citing. Aeromexico seems to disagree with you.... this is from their reservations website. Flights arriving and departing everyday http://www.aeromexico.com/en_us/destinations/north-america/united-states/Phoenix/default.aspx?t=3
7 :
Yes but how much will they save not having so many illegals draining there system?
8 :
so,you like a foreign country harming your fellow Americans?...says a lot...
9 :
Arizona pays more in social programs to illegals than they enjoy in tourism - for sure. This is no problem for Arizona. Jan Brewer for Prez!!! Love it.

I'm sure they will go broke from losing a couple pesos. Their sales of papaya juice and Jesus candles will definitely suffer though. Dumb.
11 :
Your right, it will hurt the U.S. tourism business. After all, the immigrants who come here and suck money out of our pockets couldn't afford a plane ticket to save their lives.
12 :
Many Arizonans still fly to and from all places. Won't hurt that much. As for something typically ignorant being said, looks like you beat everyone to the punch.
13 :
I wouldn't think it would be much of a concern for AZ. They'll get along just fine without anymore Mexicans.
14 :
If I wanted to get to Phoenix from Mexico City, I'd get there regardless of where the flight from Mexico took me. I could also boycott the Airline.
15 :
The law will never be enacted. It will be deemed unconstitutional by the regional federal court in Denver and put on hold. AZ will then appeal until it goes before the SCOTUS. Either way its going to cost the tax payers of AZ more than if the law had never been passed. Thumbs down all you want, but in the end you will have to admit I got it right.

Rich Mexicans go to NY city for shopping not Phoenix. Since Phoenix is second only Mexico City as the kidnapping capitol of the world, rich Mexicans would have no desire to go there. Illegal immigrants have done far more harm to Arizona than the stopping of a few flights.
17 :
You know what? Let them suspend flights. In the end not only do they hurt AZ, they hurt themselves. I doubt they will suspend flights, the article said they "may." Airlines do not like shooting themselves in the foot. If our illustrious president had stopped this morning after saying he does not condone boycotting, instead of continuing with he doesn't not condone it, it would have made a huge impact on Independents like me. I usually disagree with him but he has had countless times he could have turned it around. This morning was one of those times. Instead of trying to be on the side of his countrymen, once again, he has proven that he is anti-American. Instead of tell Calderon to tighten up his country and provide better jobs and pay for his people, what did he do...he chastised one of his states by agreeing with Calderon that it's America's fault, it's all our problem. I'm sick to death of America being made out to the big, bad bully by this traitorous president.

AZ didn't shoot themselves in the foot... The Racist Radical Thing we call the President of the United States did this... he is the one to blame. instead of him standing up for the American people like he is suppose to do, he stands up for the illegals and Mexico but It is backfiring in there face b/c its going to hurt the Latinos who work in AZ b/c no business.. no job... idiots
19 :
You need to read your own article: Areomexico hasn't even canceled service yet. In addition, there are other airlines and charter flights
20 :
screw them. if they dont want to come here, they can go to the shooting galley that is juarez
21 :
LMAO, who cares? I don't think AZ gives a rats ass about the few rich Mexicans who are tourists. As for racism, since when is upholding already established law racism? Your either here legally or not period and it looks like the only ones who will be getting a dose of "tough love" is the illegal aliens in AZ. Regardless what you may believe, you are the minority on this issue.
22 :
I don't know why the airline would do that, it's very stupid really. There are a lot of legal Mexicans in Arizona, many of which agree with the law; they really don't appreciate illegal immigrants taking jobs from them when they themselves had to go through the immigration process. This is all so absurd, why are they so outraged by the Arizona law when Mexico also has immigration laws, and believe me, Mexican immigration is much tougher (I've been there). I think they're just being anal about the whole situation, there is nothing wrong with enforcing immigration laws, there is so much illegal immigration in the US, you can't blame states like Arizona, who suffer the most from illegal immigration, to sit by while the federal government does nothing about it.
23 :
They will make far more money off of American tourists who will now make a special point of vacationing in Arizona than they would get from the two dozen or so Mexicans who are no longer coming.
24 :
And before you ask something typically ignorant, there are many rich Americans who go to Mexico who have changed their vacation plans for Arizona, and it looks like Mexico shot themselves in the foot again.
25 :
Good For Arizona, AS much as they will save on paying for those illegals, they can make up the difference. I've supported Arizona by buying products from them. They are a great fearless state that deserves applause.
26 :
FYI: RICH MEXICANS DON'T GO TO ARIZONA........................ AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA. rich mexicans........................ ahhhhhhhhhhaahahahahhahahhahahahahahahahhaha what after they sold dope and got money for smuggling in illegals. jeeze. rich? ................................................ MEXICANS................................................. LEGALLY! sure there are.
27 :
I don't think it will hurt them at all. But you bring up an interesting point. There are many extremely wealthy individuals in Mexico. I believe that the richest man in the world is Mexican. Why do these people do nothing to improve the lives of people in their country? Why does the left blame Mexico's problems on the US, when clearly, the elite in Mexico do not care about their countrymen at all?
28 :
Mexico will lose a lot of American tourists, so they will be hurt the most.
29 :
Screw Mexico, they are being a bunch of hypocrites.
30 :
who knows
31 :
Screw Mexico
