Loved the movie actually. The best part of the movie is when one of the men seems to be praying and another guy see's it and ask him "I thought you didn't believe in religion" The man reply's "I don't, religion divides people but faith draws them closer" Just thought that was really deep for a movie.

Have you seen the movie, "Flight of the Phoenix"? I have a question about it-- (see below...)?
In "Flight of the Phoenix," how come all the characters who are stranded in the plane crash, suck up to the macho Dennis Quaid character, and despise the unassuming & helpful Giovanni Ribisi character? I realize it's just a movie, but the fact that the screenwriter thought to shape the characters this way, makes me think that he/she thought that this is the way things would naturally work out, in real life. I could see them all disliking the Ribisi character, if he was this selfish, arrogant, know-it-all, but he seems nice-- quiet, but nice-- he just wants to help everyone re-build the plane, & get out of the desert; he only turns out to be jerky later, after weeks of the other characters pushing his buttons, and being nasty & ungrateful, for (what it seems to me) no reason... why do they all continually bust the Ribisi character's chops, and then end up practically worshipping the macho-asshole Dennis Quaid character?

Giovanni is the bad guy. In a movie like that there is suppossed to be a hero. They have to build the idea of the bad guy and the hero as the movie progresses.

What is the name of the song or artist in flight of the phoenix when they have a shootout with the NOMADS?
In the new Flight of the Phoenix movie with Dennis Quaid, there is a scene where they discover nomads on the other side of the hill. They confront the nomads to help them with water. Then that Austrailian guys gets shot and Dennis Quaid shoots down the other nomads. During that whole scene there is a bad ass song that was playing. Does anyone know the name of that song or artist?

Has anyone heard from US Airways Customer Relations on Flight 614 Phoenix to Atlanta July 30, 2007?
This was the worst flight I have ever taken and should be on the news. There were airplane door problems, refueling issues, bathroom light issues, bathroom water issues and passenger seat problems. It was delayed and passengers were boarded and deboarded multiple times with little or no air conditioning in Phoenix 109 degree weather. We were told that Customer Relations would contact us with some sort of compensation. It better not be a $10 meal voucher!

Contact them now that you are home...they will usually send a discount on your next flight...but you have to contact them when you get home.

I wouldn't hold your breath. You need to contact them. I doubt they'll take time out of thier day to give you money. Sorry you had a crappy flight!

I would not only contact the airline, but also the airport operations center and talk with a manager. Ever since they merged with America West Airlines...they have made everyone's travels a disaster. If you want excellent service and top notch customer service people...Fly SOUTHWEST!!!!!!! They are the best!!!!!!!! Hope that helps!!!! Good luck with US Airways!!!!!!
