Has anyone heard from US Airways Customer Relations on Flight 614 Phoenix to Atlanta July 30, 2007?
This was the worst flight I have ever taken and should be on the news. There were airplane door problems, refueling issues, bathroom light issues, bathroom water issues and passenger seat problems. It was delayed and passengers were boarded and deboarded multiple times with little or no air conditioning in Phoenix 109 degree weather. We were told that Customer Relations would contact us with some sort of compensation. It better not be a $10 meal voucher!

Contact them now that you are home...they will usually send a discount on your next flight...but you have to contact them when you get home.

I wouldn't hold your breath. You need to contact them. I doubt they'll take time out of thier day to give you money. Sorry you had a crappy flight!

I would not only contact the airline, but also the airport operations center and talk with a manager. Ever since they merged with America West Airlines...they have made everyone's travels a disaster. If you want excellent service and top notch customer service people...Fly SOUTHWEST!!!!!!! They are the best!!!!!!!! Hope that helps!!!! Good luck with US Airways!!!!!!

2 hours, 25 minutes.

It depends upon whether it is a direct flight and on what type of aircraft. The airline's website should give you that information or look on websites such as orbitz.com or kayak.com Remember that Dallas, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona are in different time zones, compounded by the fact that Arizona does not follow Daylight Savings Time. So, if you just look at the departure and arrival times you will get the wrong information since they are given in the local time of the respective airports. The actual flight time cannot be calculated by simply looking at those times. You have to adjust for the time zones and for Daylight Savings Time practices. It's best just to look for the time of the flight duration given by the airline or by one of the websites.
3 :
2.30 from and 2.18 return on us airways.

Chances of Flight being canceled
Chances of Flight being canceled?
I'm taking a flight to Phoenix out of Atlanta Monday morning (BCS national championship game), but there are reports of a "wintry mix" and 70% precipitation. I've never flown before, and it's critical that I get to Phoenix in time for the game. I should also note that I have a stop in Fort Worth, TX. Can anyone tell me the likelihood of my flight being canceled or delayed? I'm kind of nervous.

I think it is still too early to tell. There may be a delay or cancellation depending on how well the airport clears the runways but supposedly Texas will be spared so the most important leg of the flight is getting out of Atlanta. Hopefully the weather will not be as bad as predicted.
2 :
Since it's critical, here is what you do: Change your ticket to fly 1 day earlier (cost about $100-$200 most airlines) Stay overnight at a hotel in Phoenix 1 estra night (cost approx $100) Make it to Phoenix in time for the critical game. Good luck.
