Chances of Flight being canceled?
I'm taking a flight to Phoenix out of Atlanta Monday morning (BCS national championship game), but there are reports of a "wintry mix" and 70% precipitation. I've never flown before, and it's critical that I get to Phoenix in time for the game. I should also note that I have a stop in Fort Worth, TX. Can anyone tell me the likelihood of my flight being canceled or delayed? I'm kind of nervous.

I think it is still too early to tell. There may be a delay or cancellation depending on how well the airport clears the runways but supposedly Texas will be spared so the most important leg of the flight is getting out of Atlanta. Hopefully the weather will not be as bad as predicted.

Since it's critical, here is what you do: Change your ticket to fly 1 day earlier (cost about $100-$200 most airlines) Stay overnight at a hotel in Phoenix 1 estra night (cost approx $100) Make it to Phoenix in time for the critical game. Good luck.
