Is there any particular reason why US Airways used an old plane for a very long flight

Is there any particular reason why US Airways used an old plane for a very long flight?
When we flew from San Francisco to Phoenix, the flight was just fine because the plane was new and the seats were very comfortable. But when we flew from Phoenix to Orlando, the flight sucked because the plane was much older and the seats were very narrow and had almost no padding at all. Does US Airways do this with all of their longer flights or were we just in the wrong place at the wrong time?

I have fown from Pitsburgh to San Fran on US Air which was well over 5 hours and the plane was brand new, had in-flight movies, and was comfortable. so you must have just got unlucky.

Almost every airline has some older and some newer planes in their fleets, depending on maintenance and flight schedules and other factors, you were most lkely were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

7 :

8 :

9 :
Usually yes, if the room is available. If not, they will check your bags and you can keep yourself busy until check-in.
10 :
they might not let you check in early, but they will probably let you drop off your luggage. if they do, drop off your luggage and tour the city.
11 :
They might let you in early if they have an open room - they definitely will take your luggage for you - just check it with the bell man and come back when you are ready to check into your room. You can leave the hotel and go have fun!
12 :
you normally can go to the hotel and if there is a room ready early, they'll let you check in, otherwise most hotels have a place for you to set your bags and place to freshen up. and then you can go and hit the town until check in, and all your stuff will be waiting at your hotel.
13 :
All you can do is try. Chances are if the room is vacant they will let you...........
14 :
read a book ...
15 :
They'll let you check in as soon as the cleaning staff is done with your room. While your waiting why not start exploring Phoenix? Maybe get a nice breakfast or drive around to look for activities you'll want to do thorughout the week Have fun on vacation!!
16 :
sleep on a bench in the hotel i will watch ur bags
17 :
Lets see you get in at 10:30 which means you get off the plane at 11:00, get your luggage by 11:30, get to the car rental get out of there at 12:30, Go get some lunch, Out of lunch by 1:30 drive to the hotel, arrive around 2:30, drive around a little to get a feel for the area. Then check in What is the problem? Most likely you can check in early, call and ask.

Good 4 u. Hope you have a wonderful and safe time in Phoenix. Well of course while at the airport listen to music/read/nap. Once arriving in town goto your hotel and just check in your bags so u don't lug them around and get acquainted with your new surroundings and ask the staff for information. That's what they're there to do and will more than likely be happy to help or find someone who can help you. Safe travels. d

I would see if Southwest has any specials. They operate out of Midway Airport and not O'Hare. Sometimes they have promotions such as $59 each way based on a round-trip ticket purchase.
2 :
Ok, first you might have a problem sending these children alone, because of some airline policies. Most will not allow a child to travel alone if he is under 15. Also, you didn't specify which airport you will leave from in chicago. Or if you want a one-way or round trip. Anyway, try travelocity, Expedia, you can search 100's of airlines at one time using their search engines. Happy Traveling!

Why would you want the 3rd clarinet part? 1st parts are always the most fun. Anyways, you wont find sheet music for free. You're gonna have to search the internet and probably pay a little for a copy to be sent to you or to download it.
