Is 1965 flight of the phoenix worth seeing
Is 1965 flight of the phoenix worth seeing?
is it a bit dated to watch today or is it still good to watch? 'cause i've had people tell me that it's a good film and better than the 2004 version, but i'm worried that i'd be wasting time watching the 1965 version....just cause an old movie's rated high doesn't mean it would still be relevant and fun to see today...i just wanna know if it's a good film

I have seen it and agree that it is a great film. It is not big in action, but it beautifully captures the frustrations and the struggles for survival that the crew faces. It is well worth checking out.

Does Northwest airlines show in flight movies
Does Northwest airlines show in flight movies?
I am being told there may not be a movie shown on my Northwest flight from Phoenix to Detroit?? Why not? It's supposed to be a 4 hour flight!!! It's on a Boeing 757-200 if that helps. The trip from Detroit to Phoenix will be almost 4 and a half hours. I've never been on a flight that long without a movie.

I'm not sure, sorry but you can call the airlines and ask them, if they just provide with TV you can do, its only 4 hours or so so you'll survive, don't worry. Just in case, bring something else entertainable like a magazine or a book, portable music players, maybe even a labtop if you need too.

They have a pesonal screan on the international flights, and a am pretty shure that they have movies on flights over 5 hr.

I have checked travelzoo, expedia, travelocity, kayak, etc... I need other options, even a travel agent (N Virginia) in my area would be an option?

expedia has some pretty good deals if u book early and a hotel

I just researched on Expedia for a flight from Charlotte NC to Las Vegas during Thanksgiving and it was much cheaper than Hotels.com or any other site that I visited. Just do your research and find the best deal. :-)
3 :
search on http://www.airmanual.com
4 :
You can try Priceline, where they allow you to "name your own price". No matter where you wind up getting the tickets, the earlier you book the flights, the cheaper they will be.

Hello, How are you? Here is where to find a cheap flight during Thanksgiving http://www.cassandralanetravel.org
6 :
try expedia.com

I see pretty good fares still available if you could depart on 19th, 20th, 27th, or 28th (all showing seats still available $240 r/t or less, staying about 1 week). Mon. 24th is $292. All other dates close to T'giving are $331 or more. I tried Southwest for you, too, and best I see is $318 19th-27th from BWI. Tip: search from WAS will check DCA, IAD, and BWI without having to check National, Dulles, and Baltimore individually -- will save you time. If any of the cheaper travel dates I found will work for you, try booking WAS - PHX with http://www.bookingbuddy.com -- will search many sources for you (including ones already mentioned here) all in 1 go -- saving you a lot of time and hassles.

If you are looking for dirt cheap flights to International cities anywhere in the world then Globester is the solution. You can buy super cheap air tickets from this site and fly anywhere. So what are you waiting for Log on to http://www.globester.com and book your cheap flights now!

I am not sure what is cheap for you, but Thanksgiving week is the highest flying season of the year. Hence, the airlines will increase the prices knowing people are desperate to fly and some don't care how much money they pay. On average a good round trip will be paying around $280. The best site in my opinion is KAYAK.......
